Eric Burdo doesn't have time for your crap.

After his car was broken into and multiple packages were stolen from nearby houses, Burdo decided to pull a little prank on the neighborhood thieves.

Burdo collected his dog's poop, boxed it up and left it on his porch as bait. Of course, he also had a home security system to catch the bandits in the act.

Burdo left the poopy package on his front porch on Sunday and sure enough, at about 1:30 p.m. on Thursday a couple of kids were spotted running up to the porch and snatching the package, local news outlet KTNV reports.

"I was kind of excited and I just kept replaying it," Burdo told KTNV. "I just kind of wanted to give them back something."

Burdo said he was a little surprised that the thieves were kids, but pleased with his prank nonetheless. In fact he thinks everyone should take part.

"Are you suggesting that everybody put a package of poop on their porch?" Michael Burton, a reporter for KTNV, asked Burdo in a recent interview.

"Yes," Burdo responded.
