Pope Francis visits the White House, hangs out with President Obama

Pope Francis was joined by President Barack Obama as he spoke about climate change, immigration and more in front of a White House crowd on Wednesday morning, the first major event of his six-day tour of the American Northeast.

Francis will speak before Congress on Thursday before traveling to New York City, where he will ride through Central Park and speak at the United Nations General Assembly. He then heads to Philadelphia, where he will preside over a mass that one million people are expected to attend.
