LONDON – If you ever need an incentive not to stand too close to the edge of a cliff, just remind yourself of what happens in the video below.
Sam Haskins, 24, shared the following unnerving footage of a chunk of cliff breaking off the UK's Isle of Portland on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));Perfect timing Sharon Haskins kris Kris HaskinsPosted by Sam Haskins on Wednesday, September 9, 2015
Yikes.
At the start of the video, you can see how unstable the cliff looks.

The collapse starts with a small trickle of rubble.

Then the whole thing suddenly gives way.

Luckily, no one was on the beach below.
