LONDON -- Whether you're a Ravenclaw or Slytherin, a Hufflepuff or Gryffindor, it's a well known fact that the Harry Potter universe is about so much more than the books: it's a community. And, as usual, Hogwarts alumni (fans) are proving this theory right by welcoming the next generation of HP readers into the fold through secret, heartwarming messages hidden in copies of the books. And, like most Potter-related things, we can't get enough of them.
Started by HP fan-site MuggleNet, #PotterItForward encourages fans to leave short notes for future readers in either library or bookstore copies of Harry Potter.
The notes range from emotional accounts to life advice and have been placed in books worldwide. Here are a few of the best to inspire you to #PotterItForward.
