Pownce, the media-sharing, lifestreaming tool of sorts, has created a new public API. It's set to have the public API ready and released by September.
While Pownce already had an API built specifically for communicating with its desktop application, the new API will meet the needs and demands of the developers that would like to improve upon and extend past the initial API. The company is encouraging the use of the new API and seeking feedback, as it was built with a wider cast of distributed clients in mind. It has also created a Pownce API group on Google for the ongoing discussion of its development.
