20 predictions for the future of storytelling

It's not easy to predict what the future of anything may be -- including the storytelling industry, which has undergone myriad changes over the last few years. Those who have been able to jump on trends early have reaped successes, while those who have fallen behind have struggled to keep up.

In preparation for Mashable’s upcoming Media Summit, which takes place on Dec. 5 at the Hudson Theatre in New York City, we asked our audience to make predictions for the future of storytelling. We received more than 100 responses, and 10 lucky individuals each won a free ticket to attend our event.
