There's nothing sadder than the few false moments when you think you've won something. Your heart races and eyes widen in celebration, only to be deeply disappointed just seconds later.

The premature celebration has embarrassed underachievers since the early days of competition. But there is a sick satisfaction in watching someone's cocky commemoration turn to utter disappointment as they realize their victory is anything but.

Take this as a lesson -- don't celebrate until you're 100% sure you've won. Otherwise, you just look like a fool.
