Protonotes, a service that Kristen profiled here at Mashable last summer, just relaunched with a number of improvements today. The service is a collaborative annotation system that lets teams keep a wiki-like conversation flowing around a particular web page:
Protonotes seems to be specifically created for teams working on something like site design, but the service could be used for a number of other functions as well, even for casual purposes between friends.
The process of implementing Protonotes into your site has now been made a whole lot simpler, with installation entailing pasting just four lines of JavaScript in your HTML, giving it a theoretical 60-second install time.
