PS22 Kids' Choir Honors Lady Gaga With Adorable Medley

PS22 Chorus, made up of 5th-graders from Staten Island, impressed Lady Gaga with a mini medley of "Just Dance" and "Applause" at Glamour’s Women of the Year Award.

The tribute came moments before Lady Gaga took the stage to accept the ceremony's Woman of the Year honors on Monday night.

"Wow, you know, I was sitting there this whole time with my mom ... and I was thinking I'm not going to cry, I'm going to be fine, but then the kids started singing," Lady Gaga said before turning around to address the students and choir director Gregg Breinberg.

"And you did a fantastic job, you really did, it was amazing what you did. You should keep doing all that hard work and all that rehearsal and stay close to your teacher because these are the things that will carry you into your future," Gaga continued.

PS22 Chorus over the years has appeared on the Academy Awards, Oprah, Sesame Street, MTV, Nightline and Good Morning America. The public school choir has performed for or with such notable figures as Barack Obama and Beyonce.

On YouTube, people have watched the choir's videos more than 58 million times.
