In a love story for our times, two pugs overcame enormous obstacles and seven years of dating to finally wed on Sunday.
Before an adoring crowd of 60 dogs and 350 humans in Melbourne, Australia, Jasmine and Jasper said "I do" in a beachfront ceremony.
As Mashable Australia has previously reported, the two dog overcame years of hardship after being abandoned, almost blind and obese, and were nursed back to health by Pug Rescue and Adoption Victoria.
Now happily living together with their adoptive family, Jasper and Jasmine, along with best man Frank, bridesmaid Nancy, page boy Gav and flower girl Pixie, donned jaunty outfits for the occasion.
According to the Herald Sun, Jasmine's couture gown -- valued at A$2000 -- was designed by Craig Braybrook from Project Runway.

The wedding was also a charity gala, with tickets of A$30 raising funds for Pug Rescue Victoria.

Treats for dogs and humans were served alongside a cake adorned with a Jasmine and Jasper wedding topper.
Many happy returns, Jasmine and Jasper!
