But the world continues to turn, and Starbucks' pumpkin spice latte will reportedly make its annual comeback on Sept. 8.
The PSL -- which will even use real pumpkin this season -- will make its fall debut nearly a week later than it did last year.
Each year, Starbucks waits to release the drink until after Labor Day, a day universally acknowledged as the unofficial end of summer. This year, Labor Day falls on Sept. 7.
But fear not, hot sugar milk devotees; early access will be available for some customers on Sept. 4, NBC reports.
