This September, world leaders will convene in New York City at the annual United Nations General Assembly to discuss some of the most pressing issues of our time. During the course of the General Assembly, representatives of the U.N.'s 193 members states will make decisions on matters of peace, security and global crises that will affect us for generations to come.

But the dialogue doesn't end there. Luckily for the global social good community, Mashable and its partners—the United Nations Foundation, the United Nations Development Programme and the 92Y—present the seventh-annual Social Good Summit. This two-day conference, held on Sunday, Sept. 18 & Monday, Sept. 19 at the 92nd Street Y in New York City, extends the conversation beyond the General Assembly Hall.

The Social Good Summit, uniting world leaders and influencers to examine the impact of technology and new media on social good, invites the public to join the conversation IRL. Building on the U.N.'s Sustainable Development Goals adopted in 2015, the Social Good Summit's #2030NOW initiative will look toward finding long-term solutions that help build a better world by the year 2030.

We are excited to announce that tickets are now available for purchase for this year’s Summit. Single-day tickets are $70, while a two-day pass, allowing for admission to all sessions, is $135. Purchase tickets now to ensure that you’re part of the conversation IRL.

For members of the press, applications are now open to join the Digital Media Lounge, a designated area at the Summit from which global journalists and bloggers can report about the conversations happening on site.
