Photos released by North Korea's state-run media show leader Kim Jong-un touring a newly completed terminal at Pyongyang Sunan International Airport.
The modern building looks impressive, especially considering the low volume of foreign visitors North Korea receives.
Korean Central News Agency reported that Kim said he was "very satisfied to see the terminal well built in harmony with modern aesthetic taste and national character."

He toured the airport with an entourage, including his wife Ri Sol-ju. KCNA did not reveal the date when the photos were taken.
North Korea has sent mixed messages about its desire for foreign visitors.
The Pyongyang marathon has been open to amateur foreign runners for the past two years, and tour companies have promoted activities like summer camp in the country. At the same time, however, North Korea enforced a travel ban and quarantine rules in response to the Ebola outbreak, even though no cases of the disease were reported there.
Despite Kim's high-profile promises to improve the country's standard of living, many North Koreans still lack basic services, such as clean water.
