You'll be seeing Her Majesty in three dimensions this holiday season. Queen Elizabeth II agreed to be filmed using 3D cameras for this year's royal Christmas message.
British nationals will need special 3D glasses, a 3D TV and 3D box to be able to view the video. However, viewers may be limited -- Buckingham Palace said the audience size for the format is “relatively small,” The Independent reports.
This isn't the Queen's first venture into high technology. Artist Chris Levine previously rendered a holographic portrait of Queen Elizabeth which has been projected onto buildings throughout England.
