LONDON -- Not only is she the head of state of the UK and numerous Commonwealth realms but the Queen has not one, but two birthdays.
Queen Elizabeth turned 89 on Tuesday, but her official birthday won't take place until June. She is expected to celebrate the day in private at Windsor Castle, according to the BBC, while a number of salutes will take place around the UK, including a 41-gun royal salute in Hyde Park by the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery.

The fact that it's not her official big day didn't stop people on Twitter from wishing the Queen a happy birthday. #QueenElizabeth and #happybirthdayyourmajesty were top trending hashtags in the UK on Tuesday morning, while 'Happy Birthday Ma'am' was also very popular.
