Quintura, a Russian/US search startup with offices in Moscow and Virginia, have been looking for coverage on the so-called "2.0" blogs for months now (correction: almost a year), but I pretty much overlooked them due to a lack of social features, and the need to download software to use their new web search. Earlier this month they fixed one of those issues by releasing a web-based version of their "visual" search engine, allowing you to type a phrase and find related phrases in a tag cloud. This, it seems, helps novice users to narrow down their queries - Quintura Search for Women and a Kids Search is also in the works.
