Last year at Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week, high-end fashion designer QIAODAN Yin Peng showcased a luxe sportswear collection paired with an array of breathing masks to bring light to China's pollution issue.

We scoured Taobao, China's biggest online marketplace for smog masks and found plenty of quirkier designs among the regular masks. While we can't vouch for whether these masks work effectively, we're pretty sure they will turn more than just a few heads.

A breathing mask that doubles up as ear muffs? Talk about a multitasker.

Our verdict on graphic printed masks: so '60s, so on point. The packaging of these masks don't hurt either.
