That custom Millennium Falcon drone we saw earlier this year has nothing on this R2-D2 drone.

YouTuber Don Melara modded an R2-D2 unit into one of the sickest drones we've ever seen.

Nicknamed "Arturo," the Star Wars drone is more than just couple of blades spliced on the droid. According to Melara, the drone took eight days to put together and has a DJI GPS autopilot navigation system, an articulating dome, LED jetpack lights and a built-in speaker. R2-D2's eye even has a camera installed in it.

Melara plans to release a video showing how he built the drone soon.

The R2-D2 drone isn't his first custom Star Wars job, either. The guy also has a badass X-Wing drone that also lights up. See for yourself:

For what it's worth, his X-Wing drone sure works better than Air Hogs' disappointing X-Wing R/C Starfighter.

Here's a close-up video of the X-Wing drone:

Honestly, we can't decide which one is our favorite. They're both friggin' amazing.
