German Rock Band Jams in Tabletop Acoustic Rap Session

German band Rakede only needed six beers, one table and a balloon full of helium to compose a hit song.

The six-man rock band departed from its normal rock 'n' roll comfort zone in a video for "Tischkonzert," which roughly translates to "tablet concert." The group abandoned its guitars and drums in favor of less conventional instruments for a genre resembling German acoustic hip-hop.

Pair this song with a case of PBR and your fanciest moccasins to really impress your hipster friends.

Reddit user lasersauce roughly translated the lyrics, revealing how little the title has to do with the actual words they sing. Check out the video above, then read the translation here to see why these silly Germans have a case of the giggles.

A previous version of this story called "Tischkonzert" a love song. The story has been updated to reflect the correct translation as a table concert.
