Apparently not content with being out-weirded by Donald Trump, Rand Paul just gave us a bizarre reminder of his ambitions for the 2016 presidential race.

The Kentucky Senator's campaign released a new app Wednesday with one very strange (and hilarious) Easter egg hidden inside.

The new app (iOS and Android) has much of what you'd expect from a presidential candidate: a feed of campaign-related news, opinion polls, links to donate and signup as a volunteer, along with information about Paul's stance on issues like immigration and education.

Where things take a turn for the weird is in the "Fun Stuff" section, which has a meme generator and a photo booth feature that allows you to take a "virtual selfie" with Paul. But memes and creepy selfies aren't even the weirdest feature of the app.

That honor belongs to the bizarre Space Invaders Easter egg hidden inside. Yes, you read that right, and yes, it's pretty much exactly what it sounds like.

If you know where to look, the app takes you to a Rand Paul-themed version of the classic Space Invaders, only this one tasks you with destroying logos for Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush and, of course, Trump. It's about as ridiculous as it sounds.

What's more, when you inevitably lose, the app suggests you "assuage your guilt" by donating to Paul's campaign.

If you want to experience this truly Paul-level weirdness yourself, you can find the game from within any of the "fun stuff" sections, like the photo booth and meme generator when you tap the back button. We were also able to pull it up by double tapping the "Rand" logo at the top of the app from the same sections.
