Not all that long ago, really, Randy Moss was the NFL's most-feared wideout, a freak athlete with flypaper hands who stopping was more prayer than plan for opposing defenses. (For a reminder, just watch the video embedded above this paragraph.)
Like father, like son -- kind of.

A new video released by the high school sports site MaxPreps shows young Thad Moss -- a senior at Mallard Creek High School in North Carolina -- has some skills on the gridiron too. It's not hard to spot how Thad's playing style differs from that of his dad's though:
Yup, where Randy relied on grace and acrobatics to make his highlights, it appears young Thad prefers power. They're the same height at 6-foot-4. But, at 240 pounds, teenage Thad already has 30 pounds on his dad's playing weight as an NFL veteran.
They also play different positions. Randy was a receiver, but Thad is the 5th-best tight end in the high school senior class, according to ESPN. He holds scholarship offers from a host of college teams including Alabama, Cal, Oregon and UCLA.
And yes, we feel super old now too.
