RealityWanted started out as an online resource for things going on in the crazy world of Reality TV. One of the biggest attractions to the site was the casting section, which connected hopefuls with the reality television programs that would make them stars. In addition, RealityWanted featured interviews and news related to the industry.
The site is now relaunching as a social network, because the folks that want to be on reality television shows aren't social enough! ;) All the news, interviews and casting resources are still there, but now you can view user profiles, leave comments, rate users, contact users, and see what shows other people are trying out for. There's also a recommendation tool built in, so you can see related shows that are also casting for newbies.

Sometimes we don't fully grasp the larger scope of reality television, but it branches out to nearly every channel out there, from PBS to HGTV. So there's a wide scope of potential users to be found here. Admittedly, RealityWanted does have a pretty heavy focus on those shows that you typically think of when you hear the phrase "reality TV," so you'll see a lot of profiles that seem primed for casting on a VH1 or MTV series.
