Armature Studio, the dev team formed out of key leads from Metroid Prime maker Retro Studios, is back with a brand-new, Xbox-exclusive game: Recore.
Set in a seemingly deserted post-apocalyptic world, the E3 announcement trailer follows a young woman and her robot-dog companion as they take shelter from a dust storm and fight off a horde of antagonistic robot spiders.
The trailer hints that robot companions will be the key to survival in the sandy wasteland, and the title card flanks our hero with a multitude of different types, from a floating spy orb to a giant bodyguard type.
Looks like the trend of trailers featuring lonely protagonists with dog companions continues (ahem, Fallout 4), but with a robot dog this courageous no one is complaining.
