Anonymous Internet users don't always have the best track record for random acts of kindness. Sure, people do good things on the Internet every day, but it's typically the negative actions that stand out.

Well, Reddit just redeemed one of its negative interactions by highlighting one kid's meager YouTube channel with just 22 subscribers.

It all started on Friday when Redditor Jouletheif submitted one of the boy's videos to r/videos. His YouTube channel, called "the prehistoric channel" is dinosaur-obsessed. Using his hefty collection of dinosaur toys, the prehistoric channel makes adorable, yet awesome videos ranging from action reenactments to toy reviews.

Jouletheif's post blew up, quickly hitting the site's frontpage because r/videos is a default subreddit. Redditors excitedly watched the subscriber count grow as the post gained more attention.

Some redditors saw a bit of their younger self in the child who makes the videos.

Considering the boy is very active on YouTube it was only a few hours before he realized that his channel had far more than 22 subscribers. He posted an update when he hit 29,342 subscribers. At the time of reporting, the channel has over 69,000 subscribers.

"I don't even know if that's true or not, this could be a problem with YouTube. But if it's true this means I have hit fame level! And if this is true it is just so huge and for all of you who have subscribed to me, and watched my videos and liked them I would like to say thank you so much," the boy said in his update.

He also showed his gratitude in the comment section of YouTube.

But the boy's not letting it get to his head. Just an hour after the update, he posted another video as a thank you to his subscribers.

However, given all of this Internet fame, the boy is bound to get a few nasty comments. But have no fear, he's not going to stand for it.

Be kind, Internet. You might just make someone's day.
