There are many questions, assumptions and misunderstandings that have come up in the past few months as global events have pushed the refugee population into the spotlight. Chief among them is whether refugees coming to the United States will put the public in danger. However, when you look at the number of refugees in the world, and the strict legal process they must go through to gain entry to the U.S., you start to see the bigger picture of how vast the current refugee crisis really is.
