Looking for a venue for your next party? How about Japanese theme park for you and 10,000 of your closest friends?

Japan Monkey Park is available for two-hour rentals via Spacemarket, a Tokyo startup in the vein of Airbnb, for $24,000.

Spacemarket, which launched in January of 2014, has more than 4,000 venues -- some more unusual than others -- available for rent.

Most of the venues are in Japan, except Coca-Cola Park, a baseball stadium in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It is available to rent for $1,625 per day and can hold up to 8,000 people.

Other unconventional rentals include a private island, a temple and a hot spring.

The venues are used for parties, weddings, photo shoots, art galleries or conferences. But there's not much stopping travelers from renting out an unconventional space and crashing there, if they've got the means. (Sleepover next to a volcano, anyone?)

With the 2020 Tokyo Olympics coming up, the Japanese government is pushing for 30 million annual tourists. In the coming years, Spacemarket hopes to expand and provide venues to visitors, founder and CEO Daisuke Shigematsu told Tech in Asia.
