A South African TV reporter was mugged at gunpoint on Tuesday just seconds before starting an on-air segment. The disturbing experience was caught in full view of cameras and aired later on SABC News.

According to SABC, contributing editor Vuyo Mvoko and his camera crew were stationed outside of Netcare Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg, preparing to report on Zambian president Edgar Lungu's arrival in South Africa for possible surgery. That's when the young men approached the crew and demanded their cell phones.
