"I've got a dog that's apparently taken a liking to me, and er—down, boy!"

For the news team who approached the site of a Donald Trump rally well over a day in advance, before Trump had even arrived, it was supposed to be a quiet news day. While it wasn't quiet per se, it was cut very short.

That's because the reporter for Good Morning Memphis on Fox 13 was approached by a stray dog who decided it liked him, very much. From the reporter's reaction, this was likely happening well before he was on air and well afterward, because he had to shout to his coworkers to cut to something else while he solved his predicament.

The reporter, Earle Farrell, was a good sport about the whole thing, and the dog got its 15 seconds of fame. So everybody wins.

@BrittaniD_Fox13 fun times with stray dog! But funny— Earle Farrell (@earleonfox13) February 26, 2016
