With terrible events such the Paris attacks, you'd think it'd be OK for those working on the tragedy to not really give a damn about fashion. Well not this one guy.
A Twitter user named Stephen Blackman expressed his offence at the repeat sight of a jacket worn during reports on the Paris attacks by Australia's ABC European correspondent, Lisa Millar.
@LisaMillar Don't you think when time permits a visit to "David Jones" for a few more clothes might be a priority?— stephen blackman (@stephenblackma1) November 24, 2015
Ignoring the fact Millar has been working around the clock to report on the attacks, which killed at least 130 people, Blackman said she should have made the time to go shopping at Australian department store, David Jones.
"Don't you think when time permits a visit to 'David Jones' for a few more clothes might be a priority?" Blackman asked. Millar, a little perplexed, replied: "huh?"
Blackman then clarified his rude remark. "The same jacket, report after report, I'm sure you follow," he said.
@LisaMillar Da...the same jacket...report after report....I'm sure you follow...— stephen blackman (@stephenblackma1) November 25, 2015
Millar packed quite the punch with this reply.
@stephenblackma1 Funnily enough I didn't have time to shop. Mental note to self - pack better when covering breaking news tragedies— Lisa Millar (@LisaMillar) November 25, 2015
These tweets deserve an A+ in sarcasm.
@stephenblackma1 @LisaMillar Stephen your experience on how to dress for 15 day field reporting on disasters will be gripping. Please share— Michael Carey (@MichaeCarey) November 25, 2015
Lay off Stephen, everyone. He's simply mixed up Paris Terrorism Tragedy Week with Paris Fashion Week. Easy mistake. https://t.co/VYmwopwBN1— James McHale (@JamesMcHale) November 25, 2015
Some people had it way worse...
@LisaMillar @stephenblackma1 one of my cameramen wore the same underwear for five days straight because he had so little time to pack!— Tom Steinfort (@tomsteinfort) November 25, 2015
Even Today host Karl Stefanovic, who wore the same suit for a year and no-one noticed, said he never changed his jacket throughout his reports on the Paris attacks.
.. Let's ask Karl @LRussellWolpe @stephenblackma1 Hey @karlstefanovic - seems I shouldn't have worn same jacket through Paris crisis. You??— Lisa Millar (@LisaMillar) November 25, 2015
Same one.. https://t.co/lkz0wsBxFW— Karl Stefanovic (@karlstefanovic) November 25, 2015

Stephen says it's all for a bet though.

We'll bet that Lisa Millar knows that she can just wear whatever she likes.
