One lucky pup is going to have quite the Christmas this year.
Carson Animal Care Center, a high-kill animal shelter in Gardena, California, recently housed an 8-month-old pit bull named Benny. The dog was timid, yet friendly.
But on December 10, a kind family chose Benny for adoption and his attitude quickly changed from shy to OMG on his freedom walk out of the shelter.
The pup could hardly contain his excitement, and made multiple victory jumps to show his happiness.
Just take this as a kind reminder that shelter dogs can make incredible last-minute Christmas presents for responsible families with extra love to give.
