As Apple MacBooks shrink in size and weight, customers will be paying more for repairs. For instance, just to swap the batteries in Apple's new MacBook Pro with Retina Display will cost you 54% more than it did with previous MacBook Pro models.

The MacBook Pro With Retina Display debuted at this week's Apple WWDC conference to the delight of Apple enthusiasts. At just 0.71 of an inch thick and 4.46 pounds, it may be everything you want in a cutting-edge laptop. However, its repairability score is extremely low.
