The official rollout of the new retweet functionality started earlier in the month, which CEO Evan Williams felt compelled to explain in detail. Now, however, the feature is live to all.
Twitter used their own news-breaking platform to announce via tweet that the rollout has finished, which means Twitterers the Twittersphere-round have the retweet functionality. If you've just been gifted with the feature, you can expect a few explanatory pop ups on your homepage to help explain the differences and ease you into the new UI element.
