New York Magazine added 8-bit Oregon Trail elements to Leo DiCaprio's The Revenant, and honestly, the film loses nothing in the process. If anything, adding single pixel bullets and gravestones reading "[Your teacher]'s butt" to the hyper-realistic film might give it the edge it needed to become a huge blockbuster.
