Like its iPhone and Android counterparts, Rhapsody for BlackBerry brings its catalog of 10.5 million music tracks to the palm of your hand. In addition to listening to albums and songs on-demand, users can also listen to customized playlists and radio stations programmed by Rhapsody's music editors.
Rhapsody for BlackBerry works on BlackBerry OS 5.0 devices and higher, and it supports hardware controls on the BlackBerry Curve series.
Right now you can only listen to content while connected to a network (via Wi-Fi or 3G), but in the future, Rhapsody members will be able to download unlimited tracks for offline listening too.
Rhapsody for BlackBerry is available by visiting Rhapsody.com on your BlackBerry and will soon be in the BlackBerry App World. The Rhapsody service is $9.99 per month, following a seven-day free trial for new users.
