Richard Kiel, an actor known for his mighty stature and roles in James Bond films and Happy Gilmore, has died, the Associated Press reported. He was 74.
Kiel, whose last major role was in 2010's Tangled, was reportedly hospitalized at the time of his passing, but no further details were given.

The actor, who stood a whopping 7-feet-2-inches tall, made an active career out of being different, earning parts in more than 60 different projects from 1960 to 1999, including TV drama The Wild Wild West , The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and I Dream of Jeannie.

Most famously, he was the metal-mouthed foe "Jaws" in the Roger Moore-era Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me and Mr. Larson in
Adam Sandler's Happy Gilmore from 1996.
