In what was either a publicity stunt or a top-secret meeting concerning the future of the galaxy and life as we know it, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford met with former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson on Tuesday.
The two notorious icons -- one set to perform a one man show in the city, the other somehow still mayor -- met briefly in Toronto's city hall and then took questions from reporters stationed outside.
The two were well aware of one another prior to the meeting, as a video of Ford released in November showed the mayor claiming that he would fight Tyson.
In a video that surfaced in Nov., Rob Ford says in a tirade that he'd fight Tyson. But on Tuesday, laughed and said "no"— Ann Hui (@annhui) September 9, 2014
Both Ford and Tyson appeared overjoyed, with Tyson even calling Ford the "best mayor in Toronto's history," according to on-location reporters.
