Former Tomorrow People star Robbie Amell is coming back to the CW in a pretty hot role.
Amell is set to join the cast of The Flash, the spin-off of cousin Stephen Amell's Arrow coming to the network in fall. He will recur in the role of Ronnie Raymond, the fiance of Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), one of two S.T.A.R. Labs employees who was introduced in the backdoor pilot that aired during last season of Arrow. In the comic books, Ronnie is also one half of the duo that forms Firestorm.

Amell will debut in episode three of Flash, which has its series premiere Oct. 8.
“[Executive producers] Geoff Johns, Andrew Kreisberg and myself designed the pilot and series to include Ronnie (aka Firestorm) -- and to actually have someone with Robbie's talent playing the role is beyond exciting," said EP Greg Berlanti in a statement. "We can't wait for viewers and fans of the character to check it out."
On the show, Ronnie is a maintenance worker at S.T.A.R. Labs and will play an integral part in the particle accelerator accident that transforms Barry Allen into The Flash.
