In light of the Denver Broncos' Super Bowl 50 win, let's take a look back at our favorite Broncos cheerleader: the late Robin Williams.
At a 1979 game between the Broncos and the New England Patriots, Williams appeared in the cheerleading lineup, reprising his role of Mork from the Colorado-based sitcom Mork and Mindy.
He took the field alongside the Denver Broncos' cheerleading squad, the Pony Express, dressed in the team's glittering white ensemble. His appearance was later a plot point on an episode of Mork and Mindy.
In the lead up to Super Bowl 50, Williams' daughter Zelda shared the memory on Instagram.
Poppo rocked that Bronco's cheer skirt like a champ, and no one can tell me otherwise Happy Super Bowl Sunday folks! Please drink responsibly A photo posted by Zelda Williams (@zeldawilliams) on Feb 7, 2016 at 4:02pm PST
