Oscar-winning actor and comedian Robin Williams died on Monday at the age of 63. As a performer, Williams had the rare ability to make audiences laugh and cry.

A skilled comedian adept with impressions, physical comedy and witty retorts, Williams kept audiences laughing on television, in his stand-up routines and in many of his feature films. Williams was also a skilled dramatic actor, winning the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in 1997's Good Will Hunting.
