Rock, Paper, Scissors. It's a game we learn as kids. It seems so simple, but it's really quite complex. It has been used for everything from informing video game mechanics to deciding arguments in court. There are even a few tournaments held around the world each year to decide the best of the best.

Now, a team of Japanese science students and researchers has created a robot with a 100% success rate in the game. The project aims to create "cooperation work between human beings and robots."

Using a camera that can detect your movement and then react in under a millisecond, the robot gives the illusion that it's outsmarting you at every pass. We're not sure this is a fair way to play, but we're nearly certain we could still beat the thing because we're tricky like that.

What do you think? Is the robot cheating? Where else could this type of robot tech be useful? Do tell in the comments.
