LONDON -- They might have crossed the globe on dozens of tours over their 53-year career, but The Rolling Stones are showing no sign of slowing down.

In fact, their recent rider requests for the Zip Code tour across North America put most younger rock bands to shame, if TMZ are to be believed.

Apparently, the band insisted on a 24-hour bar at each hotel they stayed in -- "to keep the booze flowing," the site says.

They also request blacked-out windows, presumably to keep that pesky dawn light at bay, extra butlers (of course), after hours dry cleaning and plentiful supplies of their favourite cigarettes, Marlboro Reds and Lights. They also ask for written instructions on how to use all the electronics in the room.

Fledging rockers take note: That's how you travel the world.

The Stones' Zip Code tour saw the band run through the whole of their classic album Sticky Fingers in its entirety and came hot off the heels of their 14 On Fire jaunt across Asia, Europe and Oceania and before that 2012's 50 And Counting shows in Europe and North America.

Their Bigger Bang tour from 2005 to 2007, meanwhile, took in 147 shows and brought in $558 million - the highest ever grossing tour at the time.

No wonder they need a smoke and a drink at the end of the day.

The Stones' next project is the Exhibitionism show at London's Saatchi Gallery in April, which will put 500 band artefacts on display across nine spaces on two floors of the gallery. Diaries, costumes, stage designs and cover artwork are all going to be on show.
