Ross Symons can conjure the likeness of almost any creature using only a piece of paper and bit of patience.

For the past year, he's taken time out of each day to fold tiny horses, frogs, cats, boats and more. His origami creations have earned him an Instagram following of more than 41,000 people impressed with his dedication to the craft.

Symons told Mashable that he picked up the traditional Japanese art of paper folding when his brother asked him to fold an origami crane nearly 12 years ago. Since then, his time spent perfecting his abilities has culminated into a 365-day origami project.

"Posting [one] different origami figure everyday...I believe anyone can do anything they want," he said. "So, if you have a desire to fold paper like I do then go do it, it's fun."
