You've come this far and yes we assure you, there are free cats and kittens. If you are Australian, that is.

The good folks at the New South Wales RSPCA are waiving feline adoption fees for two weeks only at two of its Sydney shelters. Now, there's practically no reason to not make a kitty part of your family.

With more than 130 cats and kittens at the shelters, you'll be helping clear out space for newly rescued felines, as the shelters are reaching capacity. You'll also be saving a poor cat from an unknown fate.

The fee-free period stretches from Jan. 22 to Feb. 5, with normal adoption processes to take place to ensure that these charming cats and kittens are going to the right homes. You can check out more details on the RSPCA website.

Your new buddy might just end up being the best secretary ever, or chill out and listen to some Drake with you. Happy Friday.
