If that's the case, Australian comedian Hannah Gadsby is showering Orange Is The New Black star Ruby Rose with adulation these days. Gadsby has taken to "recreating" some of Ruby Rose's photos on Instagram, with intentionally-less-glamorous results.
Gadsby gave her photo campaign the hashtag #RubyRoseUnderstudy, and re-stages Rose's photos in a manner which showcases her personality, and proves that none of us common-folk can totally nail the Ruby Rose style every time. But, just because she's not an inmate on OTINB doesn't mean she can't pull off a mean jacket-biting pose ...

Gadsby says she was motivated to do the project because she felt a unique connection with Ruby Rose's personal style.
“I looked into it and thought, 'There’s quite a lot we have in common…except good genes,'" Gadsby told BuzzFeed, noting that she didn't even have to bother recreating certain shots. “A lot of the pics I’ve put in of me haven’t been posed for this. I’ve looked through my back catalog of awful photos, and there are just ways we represent ourselves. There’s crossover.”

Gadsby's photos are funny and a light way to poke fun at the frenzy surrounding celebrity social media followings, while also clearly demonstrating an understandable appreciation for Ruby Rose herself.

Though Gadsby has only been flexing her #RubyRoseUnderstudy muscles for a week, here's hoping that she continues to post her impressive recreations — because we definitely want to see her on Orange Is The New Black one day.
