TalkShoe may be seeking some venture capital, according to a source MG Seigler found over at VentureBeat today. According to the source, they're looking for about $5 million from Third Security in VC.
As MG mentioned, this is looking to be a cap off on a successful run for TalkShoe. The've recently launched new Facebook and iPhone applications, and are currently boasting around 47,000 calls last year and 7.5 million downloads.
Several tipsters also sent in news of the talks with investors, as was mentioned by Dave Nelson (the CEO of TalkShoe) on his podcast earlier today. Amidst the talk, he also dropped the information that around $10,000 has been paid out to TalkShoe hosts over the month of April and over $100,000 for the year of 2007.
