Wayward kangaroo fails as a hitchhiker, is taken in by police

You're a long way from the outback, kangaroo.

On Nov. 27, the police department of North Ridgeville, Ohio, spotted this curiously out-of-place kangaroo hopping around in the middle of the road.

The kangaroo, who is named "Foster," was called in by a driver who encountered the animal at about 5 a.m. The Facebook post goes on to note that owning a kangaroo in the city is perfectly legal -- with the proper permit.

Consider this a warning next time you're thinking of texting and driving; Just don't do it. Because you may have to box it out with this guy if he catches you.
