Rupert Grint is breaking our cold muggle hearts.
At Universal's recent "Celebration of Harry Potter," Grint sat down with a few former cast-mates to discuss life after the franchise and their predictions for each character's future. But as Grint revealed to The Huffington Post, he suspects all is not well for Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
"I would expect Ron has probably divorced Hermione already," he said, crushing the daydreams of Harry Potter fans everywhere. "I don't think that relationship would have done very well."
"He's living on his own, in a little one-bedroom apartment. He hasn't got a job," he continued, pouring metaphorical salt in our metaphorical wounds.
Thankfully, fellow panelist Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) jumped in to soften the blow.
"Don't say divorced," she said. "Say they've split up. They can reconcile."
If your heart is breaking, just take solace in the fact that, you know, they're just fictional characters.
