We've been waiting forever -- in Internet time -- for Ryan Adams' reimagination of Taylor Swift's 1989, first announced in August. Now it's finally here.
You can stream the album track-by-track on YouTube or in its entirety on Apple Music, Tidal or Spotify. That's right -- you can listen to Taylor Swift songs on Spotify as long as Swift isn't the person singing them.

The album opens with the sound of actual seagulls, though probably not specifically the ones featured on both Adams' and Swift's album covers.
While Adams advertised it as a sort of Swift-in-style-of-Morrissey album, that's not really accurate -- though the covers are sufficiently mopey. Ryan Adams covering Taylor Swift sounds a lot like Ryan Adams covering Oasis.
Swift and Det. Olivia Benson have been eagerly anticipating the release.

There is no currently word on how Swift's other cat, Dr. Meredith Grey, feels about the project.
