Ryan Adams is continuing his reign as a one man Taylor Swift cover band.
The singer, who announced plans to cover T-Swift's 1989 album, has released two new snippets of "Bad Blood" and "Shake It Off."

He's been teasing out his covers via Twitter and Instagram, recently sharing two separate parts of his gloomy "Bad Blood" cover.

Swift instantly retweeted his snippets, clearly pleased at the rock sensibility he applied to her pop tracks.

He also shared a cover of "Shake It Off," Swift's bubbly earworm of a jam. Adams' version is decidedly darker, all somber vocals and spectral guitar work.

There was also a tease of "All You Had to Do Was Stay," a forlorn track about lost love.

It's possible that Swift is even more excited about this album than Ryan Adams fans, given her breathless tweet to the rocker:
@TheRyanAdams Cool I'm not gonna be able to sleep tonight or ever again and I'm going to celebrate today every year as a holiday. I'M CALM— Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) August 6, 2015
Let it be known henceforth that Aug. 6 is Ryan Adams Day in Taylor Swift's calendar.
