Ryan Seacrest has never been one to sit idle, so it makes sense that he just signed on for yet another project: He's executive producing Squad Goals, a super-original sitcom about 20-somethings who just won't act their age.

Nina Wass of Ryan Seacrest Productions joins Seacrest as an EP, along with writers Lindsey Rosin and Aaron Karo. The comedy is based on the writers' own experience as 20-somethings at a crossroads, a revolutionary subject for a television program.
The title itself also has a familiar inspiration: the infinitely growing entourage of one Taylor Swift.
Rosin and Karo have impressive resumes that include, between them, a young adult novel, a Comedy Central special, and a musical adaptation of Cruel Intentions.
They might want to be wary, though: Their newly-announced show sounds an awful lot like previous Hollywood attempts to capitalize on social media and memes, such as 2014's Selfie and 2011's $#*! My Dad Says. Both drew largely negative reviews and were canceled after a single season apiece.
